Blended

These Images are from my iPad. Ive been using blender and a few other photo apps. I think of these more as little notes or sketches, not finished photos. lots of fun. I really love what the iphoneographers are doing.

this is several images blended. in blender you can blend 2, save and re-open to add more. its kinda of ​

photoshop 4.0 but who cares? ​

here i put 2 images together and then with a stylus erased part of the top layer to revel parts in the bottom ​layer. the stylus allows for more control. to change the brush size you pinch and pull the image. a bit counter intuitive but it works.

Testing a gallery in a blog.

i love the idea of web pages moving up and down and side to side. so this was a gallery test for just that. Although this image is elsewhere i left it because this is the light i love.

Very excited to be participating...

Today the food network is hosting a new show at James Beach our local haunt in Venice. The show stars Anne Burrell and is called Chef Wanted. Being regulars AC and I got an invite.

4:00pm might be a tad early for wining and dining, but I think we can handle it. We arrived early and the film crew was still setting up. Across the the street is the LA Louver Gallery. There's a wonderful show there. Charles Garabedian and Matt Wedel. The sculpture above is by Matt Wedel.

R.Cronks wall mural of Abbot Kinney. hes very tall. The food was really good. Maybe I'll post some pics later. Update! Each episode features a different restaurant. A number of different chefs come in and prepare meals for a completely full dining room. A different group is brought in for every chef applying.  At the end the chef with the most positive response is offered the job. We were served the winning chefs meal and loved it. He was hired! however he was let go some 4 or 5 months later. Oh well on to the next one.
